Technicalities, and Yet Another Jingle

Okay, I've been a bad blogger and musician.  Two months went by without me writing any music, and very few articles here.  I'm pretty sure both of those trends are related.

I have been very busy RPing, though.  I'm really only playing three characters- Derscha, Ketlan, and Kezrin- and it's been hard to balance them.  My first obligation is naturally to Derscha, as the GM (and now CEO!) of the AAMS.

But I still miss playing Ketlan (who now has a guild!) and I'm having fun sneaking off to the Horde to play Kezrin.

I'm starting to hit up against what's turned other people off of staying with the AAMS long-term.  It feels very much like every time I get on Derscha or Kezrin, it's because I'm doing a delivery or something for another guild.  Or if I'm at an event, it's to act as a translator.  I know this isn't true, but the AAMS is such a small guild, that there's rarely anyone else on for "guild rp."   So those are my most memorable moments as Derscha/Kezrin.  I've got at least one thread-based guild plot going, based on a garden, that I hope will grow into something other members of the AAMS can join in.

As for music, I can blame being an active RPer for that, right?

I know, that's not allowed. . .

On the plus side, I've technically fulfilled the requirement to compose one piece of music for the month of April.  Another jingle. . . why do I write jingles in the middle of the night?  A group of people I RP with launched "CenarionCircle.org" as a place for RPers to post character profiles, stories, other RP goodness.  One of them made the mistake of joking to me today that they needed a jingle.

I couldn't let that go.

So I hopped on Elren- since she's my musician - and let her idle on Derscha's favorite bridge while I wrote a short jingle for the dotOrg, based its catch phrase, "Come on down to the dotOrg."  It was interested sitting there, as I had several people walk up for RP.  One of which was a troll, whom I will hopefully not run into again when I play during my normal hours.  (Did I mention I'm on a night shift again for two weeks?  Why does being up all night cause me to write music?)

So here it is, Come on Down!  Once again, not my best singing, but not bad for being a few months out of practice, and actually a bit better than "Light be With You."
