The AAMS Hides Shocking Secret
Booty Bay, Stranglethorn-
The ‘Anytime, Anywhere Messenger Service’ (AAMS) has long had a history of anti-goblin sentiments. Many still remember its former slogan of, “Why Trust a Goblin?”
However, ever since the inclusion of the Bilgewater Cartel as official members of the Horde, the AAMS has been slowly caving to pressure to treat goblins with equality. The company has hired goblin staffers, and even has moved its official headquarters to Booty Bay and hold events in Hardwrench Hideaway, a boon for that town’s tourism industry.
Former critics of the company point to one goblin success story: Kezrin Kanzelry, a goblin who has risen through the AAMS’ hierarchy and has become a staple of its weekly “Lounge Night.” During the siege of Orgrimmar, she was even the “Acting Branch Manager,” a position second only to CEO Derscha Kettlebomb. It’s only on closer inspection that one realizes something a slightly amiss with Miss Kanzelry’s career.
There’s no record of Kanzelry outside her time with the AAMS. Perhaps that fact is simply explained by her young age, but the company itself seems reticent to shed any spotlight on their associate. Even her temporary promotion to manager went unheralded; official company press releases from the time make no mention of it. When reached for information, the company refused to release any detailed official biography or staff photo, citing privacy concerns. There are rumors that Kanzelry suffered a bout of amnesia at the beginning of her career, another possible convenient explanation for lack of details. Kanzelry herself refused any interviews with this publication.
The AAMS would like you to believe that Miss Kanzelry possesses a demure nature and prefers to avoid publicity, but the truth is something less innocent: the goblin is not who she claims to be. She is a fugitive hiding under an assumed name. The Inside Trade has procured photographic evidence identifying her as Kezrin Goldwick, the previously assumed deceased daughter of Fezter and Rennasta Goldwick of the Goldwick Candle Corporation.
The timing of Goldwick’s alleged death caused a scandal in the Brasswright Cartel, happening only weeks before the planned merger of Goldwick Candles and Waxworth Industries, as well as the pending nuptials between Miss Goldwick and Nozzel Waxworth. The disruption of business caused both company’s stocks to plummet and sent Goldwick Candle Corp. into massive debt.
Upon contacting Brasswright authorities with evidence of Goldwick’s whereabouts, several charges have been laid against her, including first degree contract violation, corporate sabotage, identity fraud, theft, and the abduction and endangerment of a minor, due to her now assumed complicity in the later disappearance of Myzzi Goldwick, which was hushed up by both families involved. No official statement has been made yet on whether the AAMS will be included in any of those charges.
